From 2005 until September of 2010 former pros and pioneers of blading, Tracy White and Carlos Kessell, brought that passion to the Santa Monica Boys and Girls Club with the LA All Day contest series.

In an interview I once did with Tracy, when I asked about why he and Carlos started L.A. All Day, among other things, he responded with:

“I want to give back to rollerblading so it can change other kids’ lives, and people all over the world can become Bladeheads too.” - Ben Karris, ONE Blade Mag, 2011

The question is: Are you a Bladehead?

Bladehead is more than a clothing brand - it’s a movement. Born in Los Angeles, California, nearly 20 years ago through a collaboration between skaters and artists, it all started with a poster collaboration with Eric Pieper. The Bladehead design soon followed, and what started as artwork quickly became something bigger. It gave Bladehead its identity.

What began in L.A. grew into a mindset shared by skaters around the world. It’s about individuality, creativity, style, and the passion to move differently and push limits.

Now, nearly 20 years later, we’re bringing Bladehead back to where it all began. We’re celebrating the culture, the people, and the mindset that made this community what it is today.

Whether you skate every day or haven’t skated in years, that feeling never really goes away. The memories, the attitude, the style, and the connection to the culture stay with you. Being a Bladehead isn’t about how often you skate or how good you are. It’s a state of mind.

For us, bringing Bladehead back is a dream come true. We’ve been sitting on this idea, believing in its potential, and waiting for the right moment to bring it back to life. Now, after all this time, that vision is finally moving again - and we want the entire Bladehead community to be part of it.

This brand is for the ones who never stopped skating, the ones who passed the torch, and the ones still showing love from the sidelines. It’s for everyone who understands the culture and carries that mindset with them.

Support the movement. Represent the cause. Be part of the comeback.

So, the question is... Are You A Bladehead!

The question is: Are you a Bladehead?

Bladehead is not just a clothing brand—it’s a movement. Born in Los Angeles, California, 20 years ago, Bladehead represents a global subculture of skaters who share one thing in common: the Bladehead mindset. To celebrate where it all began, we’re bringing it back.

Whether you skate every day or haven’t skated in 20 years, it never really goes away. The feeling, the memories, the attitude, and the connection to the culture stay with you. Being a Bladehead isn’t about how often you skate or how good you are. It’s a state of mind.
